my approach

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, panic disorder, PTSD, and mood disorders. Therapy is not “one size fits all” for any of these mental health concerns, and often requires a flexible and adaptive approach.

I tend to be holistic and assess my clients within their different systems (family, work, community) in order to have a better understanding of how we got here. We can then work together to target specific problematic behaviors or relationship patterns.

Some clients are very active, seeking more of a coaching and CBT-style therapy, while others can take some time and would like a slower, more relational approach. Some clients want to focus on the future, and others have trauma to work through. My clients are from many different backgrounds and we work together to improve mental health, establish effective coping skills, and repair family dynamics.
